Al Ghadeer sits right on the border between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, off the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed highway near Al Maktoum Airport and Expo City. It is an Aldar community of townhouses, small villas and low-rise apartment buildings around parks and a community centre, chosen by families who work in one city and want lower rents or a garden, and by couples who split their commute between the two. Handovers in the newer phases keep bringing first move-ins.

The gated clusters need a visitor pass for the truck, the townhouse lanes are narrow so we often park at the cluster entrance and use dollies, and the apartment buildings want a permit and a lift booking.
